How we rank new casinos

Our new-casino rankings only include casinos founded this year or in the two years before. Within that group, the order comes from the same inputs for every casino, adjusted for what is available to players in Ireland.

Casinos that do not accept players in Ireland are not ranked at the top of this site's lists.

So what

What it means for you

  • First place is a comparison

A top position means a casino compares well on our inputs. It does not give a new brand a history.

  • Age is visible on every row

Each casino shows its founding year and the date it joined our list.

  • Check before you deposit

Use the checks on each review, starting with the licence on the regulator's own site.

The order of casinos on NewCasinoRank comes from one ranking method used across the CasinoRank network. It applies the same inputs to every casino and adjusts for the market, which on this site is Ireland.

Which casinos count as new

A casino counts as new when the founding year it states is this calendar year or one of the two years before. Casinos that are older, or state no founding year, keep their review and appear in other lists, but not in the new-casino rankings.

The inputs

  • Licence: which regulator, and whether it is an EU or an offshore licence.
  • Market access: whether the casino accepts players in Ireland.
  • Terms: withdrawal limits, verification and bonus rules.
  • Offer: the welcome offer for Ireland, read with its wagering.
  • Games: the studios a casino lists.
  • Payments: deposit and withdrawal methods, and whether they match.

A ranking system applies these inputs by fixed rules, so positions reflect the combination rather than any single factor. Our editors review the facts behind the inputs.

When a ranking changes

  • A licence is added, lost or changed.
  • Terms, payment methods or market access change.
  • Risks to player safety or unclear terms come to light.
  • Newer casinos join the list.

Partnerships

We earn commission when visitors sign up through some of our links; that keeps the site running. Commission is not an input to the ranking and does not change the facts we show. How we review each casino is on how we review, and who we are on about us.

Questions about our rankings

Which casinos can appear in your new-casino rankings?

Casinos whose stated founding year is this year or one of the two years before.

Why can the ranking differ between countries?

Rankings take into account which casinos accept players from where you are. On this site they are set for Ireland.

Can a casino pay to rank higher?

No. Commission is not an input to the ranking.

Is the casino in first place the safest?

Not necessarily. A ranking compares casinos on our inputs; it cannot give a new brand a track record. Run the checks on its review before your first deposit.
