New casinos open every month and most have no history to judge them by. We cannot give you that history. We can show the facts that carry most of the risk, point you to the registers where you can check them, and say plainly when we do not know something.

Ireland is in the middle of a change. The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 created a new regulator, the GRAI, which began licensing remote betting in July 2026; licences for online casino games are due in 2027 and 2028. Until then every online casino that takes Irish players does so under a foreign licence, and our reviews say what that means for you.

How we work

Every casino on our list carries three facts on every page it appears on: the founding year it states, the date it joined our list and the licence it states. The founding year sets its age band. The date it joined our list is the day we published its review. The licence comes with a register check that a reviewer records, or a pending mark until they do.

We do not claim to have played, deposited or withdrawn at every casino we list. Where a fact is missing, the page says so, and the six checks on each review show you how to confirm it yourself in a few minutes. The full method is on our How we review page.

How we are funded

NewCasinoRank is funded by affiliate commission. When you visit a casino through some of our links and sign up, the casino may pay us. You do not pay more, and the offer you get is the casino's own.
