Booms.bet review: PayPal and Revolut, but no regulator behind it

Booms.bet carries 120 studios and takes PayPal, Revolut, Apple Pay and Google Pay in euros. Its only registration is in Costa Rica, which does not regulate online casinos.

Running since 2020, it has years of trading behind it, which counts for something under an offshore licence. If a withdrawal is refused, you have almost no leverage beyond the casino's own support.

Playing from Ireland

Ireland regulates gambling under the Gambling Regulation Act 2024. The regulator, the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI), began issuing remote betting licences on 1 July 2026; it plans to open applications for gaming licences, which cover online casinos, during 2027 and 2028. Booms.bet does not hold an Irish licence.
